Our Vision
To become an Information Systems study program with global competitiveness in the development of theories and applications of intelligent information systems and skilled human resources.
Our Story
The Undergraduate Information Systems Study Program (S1SI) is part of the Faculty of Informatics and Electrical Engineering (FITE) at the Del Institute of Technology. This study program was established based on Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 266/E/O/2013 on July 5, 2013, and admitted its first students in 2014. The first graduates graduated in 2018, with a high employment rate in the IT industry.
1️⃣ The role of information systems is very broad, spanning from operational to strategic levels. At the operational level, information systems support daily activities such as data recording and processing. At the managerial level, it is used to support analysis and decision-making. Meanwhile, at the strategic level, it is used to build an organization's competitive advantage.
2️⃣ The Bachelor of Information Technology (SI) study program is an academic program within the computing discipline. This program is designed to produce graduates capable of bridging the gap between information technology and business processes in various types of organizations.
3️⃣ The Bachelor of Information Technology (SI) study program combines technology, business, and management knowledge. The focus is not only on technology development but also on a deep understanding of the organization and its strategic needs so that the solutions provided are more effective and have a real impact.
4️⃣ The Bachelor of Information Technology (SI) study program equips students with a balance of technical and non-technical skills. In addition to programming and data management, students also study mathematics, statistics, communication, and analytical-critical thinking skills. Graduates are expected to be able to solve real-world problems systematically and be ready to contribute to various sectors of the digital industry.
